The Quality Department was created to ensure that the strictest standards are applied at each stage of production, in compliance with both the applicable legislation and the high European standards. The international food and product safety certifications, such as ISO22000, IFS and BRC, were decisive factors thanks to which the company not only stood out in Greece, but also expanded to foreign markets, distributing Greek products on all 5 continents!
The thorough quality controls of the received raw materials and the monitoring of all the Critical Control Points all the way to packaging and distribution of the final product, as well as the sampling practice aim at the observance of the rules of good manufacturing practice, based on the strict policy of the company and in accordance to all requirements of quality systems.
In addition, Mega Yeeros is one of the first companies to have a fully equipped, state-of-the-art laboratory, which carries out daily microbiological tests (on raw materials, final products, work surfaces and equipment), as well as chemical tests on the composition of raw materials and final products. At the same time, analysis is performed that confirms the high level of cleaning and disinfection as well as tests for the detection of allergens in the products (such as gluten, soy, etc.).
To ensure the proper performance of the quality department, it is necessary to continuously train employees on all the latest industry standards, so they are able to apply the rules of good industrial hygiene practice as well as food safety policies.
