Megas Yeeros, the No. 1 Gyros Producer in the World, was awarded at the Chefs’ Choice Awards in the UK thanks to its all-new chicken gyros product belonging to My Grillers, the freshly grilled gyros series.
The 2019 Chef’s Choice Awards took place on Tuesday, March 5th at the Shangri-La Hotel in London. Many of the biggest names in the industry were present to celebrate the great work of food producers, wholesalers and suppliers.
The experienced panel of judges consisted of food technologists, chefs and R&D Directors. The products were prepared by chefs of Food Innovation Solutions (FIS) in a professional kitchen, following the recommended preparation and instructions per serving, the serving suggestions and the cooking times indicated on the packaging. Participations were also evaluated based on convenience and speed.
Quality, Innovation, Consistency, Taste and Texture were the main selection criteria of the committee contributing to the awarding of the prize to nineteen (19) winners! The chicken gyros product belonging to My Grillers series , which was launched by the company Megas Yeeros in 2018, won the impressions and received the distinction in the category “chicken products”.
