The 1st competition for the best griller has been announced: Megas Grillistas by Megas Yeeros
Megas Yeeros, the No. 1 Gyros Producer in the World, held with great success for the second consecutive year the Scientific Conference entitled “Marketing in Food Catering” at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). More than 200 entrepreneurs of the industry had the opportunity to be informed by the invited Lecturers about the latest trends and developments in consumer habits in the field of food and catering, marketing tools & sales, but also the contribution of Megas Yeeros to the success of their businesses. The main goal of the Conference for this year remained the same: to highlight opportunities for the modernization of the steakhouse industry, recognizing that the “key” to success for sustainable development is the correct response of companies to the high demands of the consumer, and the application of innovative and modern commercial practices.
Mr. Dimitris Mavros, CEO of MRB Hellas presented the consumer and shopping habits that characterize the current and future landscape of our country. Special emphasis was given to the Millennials generation and the ways in which the new digital age changes consumer habits in the Catering sector, through the presentations of Mr. George Gritzalas, General Manager of Adjust and Mrs. Zenia Georgiadou, CEO of Encore .
The CEO of Mega Gyros, Mr. Nikolaos Lustas, the Sales Manager of Mega Gyros, Mr. Antonis Hatzidiamantis and the R&D Manager of Mega Gyros, Mr. Giannis Koutsourakis presented the innovations of Megas Yeeros products and for the future, meeting the modern needs of consumers.
A special moment of the conference was when the Chef and Brand Ambassador of Megas Yeeros, Dimitris Skarmoutsos, analyzed the company’s vision for the evolution of the taste and quality of the products that will lead to the increase of sales covering the current and future requirements. Also, the attendees watched with great interest the lectures of two associates of Megas Yeeros abroad, namely Mr. Vasilaki and Mr. Christodoulou, owners of the chain “The Athenian” from England, and Mr. Papadopoulos, founder of the “Cantine SouvlakiBar” store from Germany, who presented their success stories.
The Conference was concluded by highlighting the need for more extroversion and the benefits that will arise for the industry as a whole and for each company separately, as presented by Ms. Elia Liataki, General Manager of the public relations company IKON Porter Novelli, who spoke about the beginning of a new era in communication in Megas Yeeros, during which more emphasis will be placed on communication with both the entrepreneurs themselves and the final consumers.
In this context, the CEO of the company, Mr. Nikolaos Loustas, concluded the Conference with the official announcement for the organization for the first time of a competition that will point out the best griller, the Megas Grillistas competition. According to his statements: “This action aims to highlight the best professionals in your field – those who come in daily contact with our product and offer it to consumers. This is a competition that we want to turn into an institution, to be repeated every year and to create stories. A competition where the contestants will have the opportunity to show their skills and be awarded while people will be able to watch them!
